Sean Hunt – the founder of Hunts Electrical & Data Services Ltd has been in the Electrical and Data industry for more than 30 years. In that time Sean has seen a dramatic change in both of these sectors, from the early 90's through to current technology, which has seen a dramatic change on both home and business life – especially in the current COVID-19 climate. 

 

Sean has throughout his career seen a lot of changes in the data communications industry from when it started with RS232 soldering connections, to BNC and right through to copper and fibre.  He has been on quite a few courses in his time starting with Ortronics / Brand Rex / Siemens / Hellermann Tyton and Assynia.

 

In the past Sean has taken on projects as small as installing an extra light in an office space; to multi floor Cat B fit outs, with contracts worth upwards of £250,000.

In 2020, Sean decided to take his expertise solo, founding Hunts Electrical & Data Services.

 

At Hunts, we have a vast amount of knowledge in all electrical aspects. This ranges from designing both power and lighting circuits, Relux lighting calculations, CAD design for Licence to alter and O&M manuals, not to mention the data cabling – Both copper to desk and OM4 fibre backbone links between cabinets.
